Get to Know Dr. Furlong
Originally from Geraldine, Montana, Dr. Edward Furlong has always had a heart for serving others. Shortly before graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve and completed his ROTC training while earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Montana State University. Commissioned as a U.S. Army Officer, Dr. Furlong served his country for nine years on active duty, deploying twice to Iraq and commanding the Reno, Nevada Recruiting Company.
In 2013, Dr. Furlong left the Army, headed back to school, and discovered a real passion for dentistry. He went on to pursue a rewarding career in transforming smiles, and became a Doctor of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
Now, Dr. Furlong is a loving husband, father, and dentist who couldn’t be happier to provide Phoenix families with the same personal, quality-driven care he would give his own. Not only does he strive to give every patient a bright, strong smile they feel proud of, but he seeks to make every step of the process feel easy, encouraging, and educational.
When he’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Furlong spending time with his family. Whether it’s going on hikes, exploring the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, or checking out new books at the library, he loves making quality memories with his wonderful wife and curious kiddos!
